The cost of living

The cost of living is the cost of maintaining a certain standard of living for an individual or a household. A sharp rise in the cost of living causes a crisis where purchasing power is lost and, for some people, their previous lifestyle is no longer affordable.

Cost of living pressures may lead to household energy insecurity or fuel poverty as well as housing stress. Many countries around the world are facing big cost of living pressure, specially because of the conflict in the Middle East. Asia is the most affected area in the world because Asian countries rely heavily on oil imports from the Middle East, specially Iran.

While there are people making big profits with this conflict others are losing much more and paying a lot more to just survive. This war is a war of choice that could have been avoided, but big interests always plays a very big role in moments like this.

So, the best thing to do is to prepare ourselves for worst times to come and keep moving on without panicking.

Custo de vida

O custo de vida é o custo necessário para manter um determinado padrão de vida para um indivíduo ou uma família. Um aumento acentuado no custo de vida causa uma crise em que o poder de compra é perdido e para algumas pessoas  seu estilo de vida anterior torna-se inacessível.

A pressão do custo de vida pode levar à insegurança energética doméstica ou à pobreza energética, bem como ao estresse habitacional. Muitos países ao redor do mundo enfrentam grande pressão do custo de vida, especialmente devido ao conflito no Oriente Médio. A Ásia é a região mais afetada do mundo, pois os países asiáticos dependem fortemente das importações de petróleo do Oriente Médio, principalmente do Irã.

Enquanto algumas pessoas lucram muito com esse conflito, outras perdem muito mais e pagam muito mais apenas para sobreviver. Esta guerra é uma guerra de escolha que poderia ter sido evitada, mas grandes interesses sempre desempenham um papel muito importante em momentos como este.

Portanto, o melhor a fazer é nos prepararmos para os tempos difíceis que virão e seguirmos em frente sem entrar em pânico.
